Solar-Powered Security System Catches Thieves on North Island Farm.

Would-be thieves were apprehended on a North Island farm last month thanks to a revolutionary SolarBeam solar-powered driveway and perimeter alert system.

A Paraparaumu farming couple, who did not wish to be named, recently installed the SolarBeam system to secure two driveways on their property. They had experienced problems with theft in the past with intruders easily entering their property at night undetected.

Not long after installing the system, it proved its worth, aiding Paraparaumu Police in the apprehension of two would-be thieves who had inadvertently triggered the SolarBeam's silent alarm. The Police arrived on the scene shortly after and used Police dogs to capture the offenders.
