New Zealand Security Alarm System
Q: What happens when my WYTEC 1600 FX New Zealand security alarm system is activated?
When your WYTEC 1600 FX New Zealand security alarm system is activated by a sensor or a panic button, it will set the siren off, unless you have programmed it for silent alarm. The length of time that the siren goes for can also be programmed in your WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system.
As well as setting the siren off, the WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system will dial each of the preset phone numbers in turn until it receives an acknowledgement (pressing the # on the telephone).
If the phone number is engaged, or there is no answer the WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system will try the next number. When the phone is answered the WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system will play the recorded message. If it has not received an acknowledgement after it has played the message twice WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system will hang up and try the next number.
If the WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system has not received an acknowledgement after it has tried all preset numbers it will try them again until it does receive an acknowledgement. You may chose up to 6 numbers for your WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system to dial when it is activated. These numbers could be your work phone, your cell phone, a neighbour, a friend, a relative, or even an alarm monitoring company. You can record your own message for the WYTEC 1600 FX security alarm system to play to whoever answers the call.
