To reduce the noise generated during testing, disconnect any extension sirens or program the security alarm to be silent. The final test should be with the sirens connected and programmed to cancel silent alarm.

The list of numbers your New Zealand security alarm rings when it is activated must be kept up to date. Provided that it is installed in a dry environment, and not subject to mechanical damage, then these simple measures should ensure that these alarms give you many years of trouble free service.
